DiSC is a simple tool with a rich history. 

First conceptualized in the 1920s, DiSC has incorporated psychological models of behaviour and adapted to emerging research and new insights and continuous testing.

No psychometric tool is absolutely reliable or completely valid. All psychological instruments are subject to various sources of error. The measurement of DiSC is both stable and internally consistent and offers an opportunity for greater awareness and understanding.
